exigency revealed

dorners not just mad
about getting fired & crazy

in a typically blind pro-cop
american media sort of way
they skirt around the fact he was fired
for ratting
on corruption

as much as you can avoid
corruption and racism
when talking about
the lapd

so bad
that when this happens
chief beck has to come on tv
say hell reopen the case

it takes this

we can take for granted
that dorner is insane yeah
that manifesto breaks down halfway

starts talking to tebow
shout outs to hillary clinton
like hes won the oscar
for best mass murderer

shit
hes got the worlds attention
he knows it
they always know it

fig9a we are naturally familiar with this concept

be easy to blame the media
but more accurate
to note how media & manifestation
of violent insanity
have this lewd public relationship

capitalism consumer capitalism
birthing its own monsters

imperialism too
veteran turned cop
in the militarized police
navy sharpshooter
eight times decorated

talks about values he learned

fig9b value added to a product by military labor

i am a walking exigent circumstance
meaning hes the thing
that cant be planned for
an antichrist rendered
through 21st c fabric

may or may not be so
while i write this theyre still
poking the remains of the compound

compound being the word
for cabin once hostages are taken
naturally

either he does outsmart them
going on undermining their cred
hurting more people
or
they do stop him
testament to how desperately
they need to save
face

irregardless
he's a loose
dangerous
cog

apocalyptic
look at the way the cops
shot at innocent people
barricaded a truck unrelated to the case
it looks bad

fig9c necessary on so many levels

it looks really bad

this would be a wakeup moment
an enlightenment
if we can tune out the news
and listen to our gut our instinct

we all knew
dorner was only a matter of time

hyping up the dramatic parts
leaving out the backstory
media has the gall to come at this
all surprisedlike

so most of us will stay in the trance
nobody saw this coming?
are you kidding?

this isnt the beginning
this isnt even the end

fig9d what is violence? whateven is mental health?

we dont have
collective cognitive framework
for whatevers going on
much less
whatever
comes next

meditation re gun control

eclecticbreakfast once again hosts
a good meditation
re the worship
of the self vs the state

which to a reply is penned

there is of course no such thing
as the state
nothing you can point to
say there it is

there is a collection of very nice buildings
some
mostly old white male
people
engaged in a widely reported
ritualized charade
an immense labor structure
stamps bells & whistles
that command respect
lotta land & investments
financial legal &c

a devoted apparatus of force
backing it up

but at the end of the day
consensual adherence
to useful fiction
for capital

individuality
is a little more tangible
because of the body
the ego is notably more concrete
though it too
does not stand
up well to intense scrutiny

family is a hereditary arrangement
its story more immediate

community is just
family neighbors businesses

it is reactive
to value these things instead
of the state
because they predate
the state
it is progressive
to value these things instead
because they move us away
from the states
totalitizing

state monopoly on violence
it can sanction its own use
of force
individual family community
excluded from participating

question of trust
trust in god
becomes
trust in the state

from the framework
alternatives boil down
i only trust people of my community
blood is thicker than water
the only person who has my back is me

question of loss
of trust
look at the trust the state
loses in we the people
formerly constituents
CCTV
militarization of police
increased rules regulations
loss of common space

vicious circle

question of domination
along & within question of survival
any incarnation of the state
must dominate to survive
mubaraks al-assads withstanding
whatever it takes
other governments would do the same
i am the state

obsession can be fascistic - at bottom of the urge to clarify things is the impulse to dominate

(mostly) survivors all

fig3a naturally we will equip ourselves with smartphone apps....

daps to my friend eclectricbreakfast
for this choice article
analyzing the zombie apocalypse
(yet again)

importantly this piece of text

which i think illustrates well
the position
we unconsciously take
from inside the consumerist recession

Neoliberalism and bourgeois culture places the individual (the self) at the centre of the universe. From this perspective the bulk of society appear as an immense collection of herd-like Others engaged in an array of apparently meaningless and mundane activities. You and your immediate circle are the individuals. The rest are a homogenous mass.
each little subculture
a bastion of us versus them
we have it right
and the rest consume media
mindlessly

fig3b its obvious

its more interclass competition
who is more adapted
to survive the neoliberal apocalypse
well of course those who are ready
to sacrifice their friends and family
on the alter of getting by

we long for work that is fulfilling
nothing is more that than survival

when face with a lack of real change
& that eternally recurring drudgery
of walking death

you could outfit every zombie with a bluetooth
only to give the narrative
a garishly particular spin

what do you want
a solution
a way forward?

well you cant spell collaboration
without labor

23 January 2013

you cant compete with the state they have guns

one of my goals for this year is to finish at least volume two of capital by karl marx.

the introduction by ernest mandel has so far been one of the most revealing & compelling parts of this book
it presents the weapon manufacturing industry as the tireless backbone of capitalism

meaning when all other industries fail there will always be a market for weapons

meaning capitalism will never fail entirely with this basis in existence

there will "always" be state & private markets for weapons

the state has a monopoly on violence -
this is part of the marxist definition of the state
even violence against wild animals has to be state sanctioned in industrialized nations

marxism broadly reflects that in the absence of a final
crisis
meaning no natural death for capitalism or the state
armed insurrection illegal violence
is the only method for packing it away once & for all

kind of goofy to try to beat it at its own game

the state will always resort to violence when it has to in order to get people to behave the right way

& snever the white collars who wear the nooses in mass

even with dedicated leadership the strongest armed insurrections can only wreak so much change for so long

because violence has to do with coercion & power paradigms & competition

so those are the paradigms that need to be challenged usurped & changed
